Museum boat Number 7 in the 1960s, as found and after restoration.
Typically 18 to 20 feet long, no keel, double ended, the ‘standard’ flatner was used in the rivers and inshore waters for a variety of fishing jobs.
The boat which was borrowed in 1996, as restored by Harold Kimber in 1966 and sailing in Bristol in 1996.
